Hello, I am renovating my kitchen completely; a new combi-boiler will be fitted on a wall cabinet and the contractor says that the pipes that run vertically from the boiler down can't be embedded on the wall as they need to be accessible at all times. This would affect the look of the kitchen as instead of having a flush backsplash they'd have to build a box around the pipes, and I'd really like to avoid this. Does anyone know what is the regulation on this and if they can't definitely be embedded on the wall? Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.
