Removing air vent

I have an ugly air vent upstairs in bedroom,do I need to keep this vent or can it be removed and sealed over.If it can be sealed what is best way to do this?

Generally vents are their for a reason ,without looking at the area to see what its venting its impossible to say if its safe to remove but generally no. Good luck Alex

Don't remove the vent it's there for a reason buildings are like people they need to breathe if it's on the top floor an alternative can be to vent through the roof via a 100mm pipe
