Tiling Question

Tiling over existing internal double seal manhole cover?

We are refurbing prop that has screeded double seal manhole cover in sun room floor and want to tile this. Thinking of getting a tray made in stainless that tiles will fill into (larger than manhole) which will then be grouted into tiled floor (or silicon) and can then be raked out if ever need to lift cover underneath. What do you think? Any other ideas?

My answer to you is a manhole can be ugly and yes it does need to be accessible.
