Should Lockshied valves be opened fully/

Have detached and reattached rads for work behind them. Now ready to re-pressurise system and bleed rads. When I open the LS valves should I open them fully and leave them open fully once pressure back to 1.5? What is the correct direction to open them?

Open them up to allow water to go through your system, Then once its full you use the locksheild valves to balance the system so that all rads heat up at the same time. Righty tighty / Lefty loosey
