Bricked up window
Had the outer wall of the window bricked up, but not the internal cavity. Is that safe? No lintel, etc.
Had some pointing done to the lower part of side wall of the house, he's said he's done it 3 to 1 and without lime, is that ok? Or will it need doing again. If so 4 or 5to 1 with or without lime?
Thank you
Thank you.

If there is no lintel on the inside brickwork/blockwork above where the window used to be i would say you need to put one in to be safe. In most cases The internal skin is normally load bearing So it has the weight of ceiling joists and roof on it.
For the pointing we would use 3 and 1 underneath dpc.
