Replacing element in Leisure 'range' cooker

Anonymous user 9 March 2024 - 2.51 PM

I just tried to replace the element at the back of the large oven in our Leisure 'range' cooker. All the videos show that when you take off the back panel you can unscrew the element but our element is screwed in from the back of the oven (all i can see is the end of the screws). This would need me to take the back off the oven off which seems a lot more risky. Have Leisure made an error in assembly? It's 2 years old (out of warranty) but if they made an error I will complain. Any help is massively appreciated. Thanks Kieron

You can change your elements by,going through the oven itself be sure to turn electricity off first then take grills out excetra. There will be a couple of screws facing you undo screws, element will be behind the plate you took out unscrew old element take a picture of two wires so you put them on the exact way unatach the old element then repeat process with your new element hope this is of help.
