Replacing cracked Floor tiles in Bathr

I have just had 5 white GLOSS (ceramic) wall tiles laid (homebase make colours) used to replace 5 white MATT FLOOR tiles on bathroom floor with underfloor heating. They new tiles are thinner than the original tiles. Will they be OK or should I remove before they set? Builder was contacted and says he didn't notice a difference. All ready paid him. It doesn't match at all. Don't really want him back to do anything all though a lovely guy. Just want it done ok.
