Wet floor after damp proofing

chine etc but cannot find anything obvious. I suspect the floor had been reasonably wet before the dpc was

There are a few reasons for this but a common cause is tanking walls only.
Blocking the path of water will force it on to another path
so blocking moisture from penetrating walls (ie tanking )will normally force it into the concrete floor if there is no Membrane beneath the floor.
Tanking means to create a tank to keep moisture out of a basement for example or in as in a swimming pool so walls and floor must be tanked.
