cooker hood-adapting to recirculation mode

Anonymous user 28 February 2024 - 3.25 PM

We have moved into a new house and there is currently no cooker hood. We have a spare cooker hood which is meant to be used with ducting. As there is currently no outlet and the wall on which the cooker hood will go is an adjoining wall, I was wondering, for ease, whether you can adapt a normal cooker hood to become a recirculating cooker how, and if so how you would go about doing that?! Thanks

Think you have to open them up and you just pull a lever inside which redirects it onto recirc.

Hi you will need to identify the model of extractor that you have, then google & purchase a recirculating kit that suits your extractor & the Carbon filters, these actually remove the smoke & fumes from the fan before recirculating as clean air, they are generally easy to install, hope this helps
