Pressure gauge problem?

I have a vaillant combi boiler which is approx 8 years old. I think there may be a problem with the pressure gauge. Gradually over time the pressure seems to drop to below 1.0 on the 'clock thingy' and every 3-4 months i have to increase it manually back upto to between 1.5 - 2.0. Is this normal? if not, does anyone know what the problem may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

The system is leaking water, could be a joint that needs tightening or something you can't see. Get some plumbers off this site to quote you?

Your cold fill pressure should only be around one bar. I would look for slight wetness around radiator valves etc as it would only take a very small weep to cause a pressure drop over this period of time

Kind regards
