Insulation

Fibre particals

can fibre glass insulation break down after time or in really hot weather and allow particles to float in the air. Have you any information that cavity insulation (polystyrene balls) can allow fibre particles to float in the air. So as you can guess I am trying to find out if these are the reasons for an irritant floating in our house. Any information how to eradicate or identify what this may be I would be very grateful.

You need to send a sample to a lab for testing such as -
