Landscape Gardening Question

Flagstones damaged or just need a good clean?

I've just a section of my garden done with concrete flags. The flags look like they are all discoloured. Do you think they are damaged? What's the best way to try and clean them?

Try jet washing them if that doesn't get the desired effect try a cement wash basically a small amount of water and a hand full cement or 2 then mix and brush over flags this will make them look brand new hope this helps.

Try spraying them with a weed killer and let it stand for an hour then wash that off with a hose if you are likely to tread on it and then on other areas with plants or grass as you will transfer the weed killer and could end up with weed killer footprints all over the garden.

The weed killer should help to kill off any moss and algae which will make it easier to pressure wash a few days later. You can get many different cleaners so check reviews to find one you are happy with.

If you don't have a pressure washer you can easily hire one, but tell them what you want it for, you don't want one that can carve the stones and you don't want one with too little power...
