Handyman Question

Can i fix a floor tv storage unit to the wall that is actually made to be floor standing?

There are two TV storage units I am currently looking at to buy. They are both the same size, same shape but different designs. One is made to be wall mounted and the other one is to put on the floor. However, the one that is made to put on the floor, I actually would like to wall mount it. So I was wondering, although it won't come with wall fixtures, is it possible to attach the TV storage unit to the wall although it is made to be put on the floor and then wall mount the TV so that it is not weighing it down?

Please help!!!!!!

Yes, everything is possible. Just use better brackets, and wall should be brick wall or concrete. if its plasterboard, then will be harder and not so safe, if its wood, then need to see again.
As I said, Yes, it is possible, just will cost u that :)

I have done this with an Ikea unit myself, as long as there is sufficient strength in the unit to take bespoke fixings then it should be OK. A supportive batten and discrete brackets on the internal structure could be one solution.
