Security Systems Question

Which wireless security alarm is best

Full system plus 5 sensors

2 Answers

Hi,

I have installed several wireless systems. A lot of them offer a lot but deliver very little. What starts out as a reasonable installation can turn into very painful alarm which ends up being cosmetic in use.

The best ( by far ) is Texeom Ricochet. Very pricey but worth it.

Another point to consider is why you want wireless. If it is for cosmetic reasons ( as in you do not want damage to decorations ) then another option is to find an electrician / alarm installer who will install a hard wired alarm without causing much mess. A good installer who takes his time can do this there would however be a higher charge but if you offset that against decorating charges it is reasonable. If you used that option I would go for Texecom Veritas or Excel.

Hope this helps,

Go for the Visonic wireless, no wires at all other than a mains connection for the main unit and a telephone wire for the optional in built dialled, fitted many of these and found them very flexible and reliable.
