Insulation

Poor ventilation to roof

Hi looking through my homebuyer report...it notes the roof is poorly ventilated, particularly after having increased insulation installed in the property. Can someone please advice what I need to do to correct this please?

Thank you

You could simply install 'easyvents' from inside the loft; these fit Inbetween the undertile felt joints.

If you have gables you could install air bricks.

Tile vents are available to suit many profiles and are fitted externally on the roof pitch.

If you have soffits outside your house you could install vents in them or replace with ventilated soffits.

You could also pull back the insulation if it has been installed directly into the eaves which reduces airflow.
