Window sill leaking

Hi there,

We have a leak in our bedroom windows. It seems as though the water is entering our bedroom through the interior window sill, however I could be wrong. It's very damp underneath the sill and when the rain is heavy it drips onto the bedroom carpet. The windows are wooden sash Windows, and we had them repointed December 2014. I would be extremely grateful for any help / suggested as to what we can do to stop this leak.

Thanks so much!!

If the window sits on a concrete cill and is not sealed, rain will be blown underneath the window and, if it's a solid wall will penetrate through under the internal window board. This woul just bead resealing.
