Wooden cladding over mains cable
I’m planning on using wooden cladding to cover up the mains electrical power cable, is that acceptable? The cable runs from the back wall of the basement to the electrical meter for a distance of around 2.5m. It is close to the wall but for aesthetic reasons, I’d like to hide it behind some wooden cladding. The cable is approx. 1in diameter.
