Hello,

The Worcester Highflow 400 / 440 etc are what is classed as storage combi boilers so they are slightly different to your standard combi that heats water on demand.

They have a 50 ltr hot water storage cylinder inside the boiler and when you draw off hot water it draws takes it from the cylinder and the boiler replenishes the water that is being drawn so you need to program it to have the stored water heated ready for use.

Personally I find it best to leave hot water on all day then if you use any it tops up automatically.

Hope this helps
