Kitchen Fitting

Kitchen design

Anonymous user 3 March 2024 - 2.41 PM

Hello, I am looking to have a new kitchen fitted, but am wondering if it is worth redesigning by knocking through the 2 connecting ladder rooms. Do I need a builder to quote for this work or would a kitchen fitter be able to look into it? Thanks in advance

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

to remove a wall or walls does not have to be carried out by a builder, but does have to be competent and have the know how to determine are the wall load bearing do any upper walls have sufficient size rsj proposedly going to be fitted, and also liason with local building control is advised, building regs may be needed.

Hi, there are many different trades people who have a network of good trade associates who are able to complete a project. I work in this way as a carpenter and kitchen fitter. I take on a project and manage it whilst doing the carpentry work myself. I then become a 'builder' .Of course there are good and bad anywhere, but if you post job as kitchen fit most kitchen fitters would be able to take this on. Good luck, Charlie

Hi Depends on the kitchen fitter really...some will only fit kitchens, and some do all of it, or would recommend a someone that can!
