Does it work out cheaper to do kitchen diner extension and loft conversion together?

We are looking to extend the back of our house to have a large kitchen diner space (looking to extend 3 metres out) and are also looking to do a loft conversion which would include dorma windows & Ensuit. Would it work out cheaper if we were to get both done a the same time?

in my experience it does work out a little cheaper to do all the large projects in one go, as you would already need a scaffold on site to do the loft work any additional scaffold could be incorporated into the loft work so cheaper than two separate jobs, also if guys are already on site then they can be working on both projects thus reducing length of works, also if materials are ordered in one go most merchants will do a better discount on larger orders so making total works a bit cheaper.
