Installing a gas hob

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

I am interested to install a gas hob in my kitchen but we don''t have a gas supply or boiler in our apartment we have everything on electricitity. Will a free standing gas cooker be right choice I am not sure if it requires gas supple or has built in supply fixed or what. Is there any other way I can look for?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You can look at a cooker that works from a bottled gas supply, but it has to be designed specifically for this, otherwise you'll need a gas supply installing, not cheap! Other option is to have a low output induction hob that plugs straight in rather than being hardwired. Its not gas but nearest to gas!
