Driveways Question

Resin bonded driveway

I'm looking at potentially having a resin bonded driveway. I currently have tarmac laid which is in excellent condition. Does this need to be dug up or can gravel be laid on this surface, saving time and money or do we need to start from scratch and dig everything up? Area cocnerned is about 70m2

Hi Joe we do resin bound as well as resin bonded, tarmac is a good surface to overlay, just ensure any cracks are cut out and repaired

Hi There

Resin Bonded gravel can be applied to a tarmac surface but it is critical that the existing base is in good condition, with no major cracks, potholes, weeds or contamination. From the sounds of your description you should be fine.

Please feel free to contact me if you need anything further
