Gas pipe in concrete floor

I've just removed an old gas fire and, in the process, discovered part of the mains feed pipe is unlagged. I intend to fill the hole in the concrete floor to bring it to a level with the surround. What's the best way of protecting the gas pipe (it's a length of about 4 inches that's exposed) from corrosion by the fresh concrete infill, please?

Hi ,The gas pipe must be sleeved. If you can get around the pipe via the end or have to cut the sleeve pipe down the centre and spread it over and around the gas pipe, either way, is a must.
Best of luck
