Oven making the power trip

Not always, but seems to be when power on oven is turned up, the oven causes the whole circuit to trip and needs to be re-set at the main fuse box, but then all works OK.

I read the advice that it is probably the heating element in the oven - do I need a NEFF engineer to come out or will a general electrician be able to check and fix things?

Thanks
Claire

Hi Claire,

It sounds more like a fault with the circuit supplying the oven to me. I would recommend you use a local registered electrician even if it does prove to be a fault with the element or the oven a good electrician will diagnose this and be able to order the part and make the repair.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards
