Fuse board distance

If i move my freestanding electric cooker how far away from the main fuse board does it need to be if its on the same wall ?

the cable run doesn't really matter aslong as the cable is in the same area and the cable is the correct size, what does matter is the isolation switch should be approx. 1m away max and not near water,

There are no specific requirements about distance from the fuse board, nor needing to be on or near the same wall as the fuse board.

The important considerations are:
1) the resistance (and short-circuit impedance) of the cable between the fuse board and the cooker. These must be below certain defined maximum values for the fuse/circuit breaker protecting the cooker cable,

2) The cable to the cooker must have sufficiently high current-carrying capacity, which translates as the "thickness" of the cable, and

As distance from the fuse board increases, so does the resistance of the cable. The only way to find out for sure is to get a qualified electrician to test the circuit for you.
