Why do I have mould problems in my newly refurbished house?
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.51 PM
Our house has been entirely renovated with new plastering, new windows etc... we now have mould behind furniture in the kitchen and upstairs. There's absolutely no condensation on the windows and we air the house regularly. What could be causing it and how do I stop it?

Has the property been subjected to a lot of water (rain exposure) or new concrete floors?
You may simply have a lot of moisture in a building still drying out (high relative humidity).......

Do your new windows have appropriate trickle vents? Is the subfloor ventilated?
