Installing cooker hood

I am just wondering when I had my boiler installed they it the elf wire behind the wall and connected it to the back of my double plug. Am I able to get the same dun for my cooker hood

To answer you question in to parts
1 your boiler feed should really be on its own feed from the concumer unit to a single point ie hard wired into a 13amp spur or a single socket . Why is this well the kitchen has the most pluged in devices in the hole house so if a trip were to happen you would loss just power to the kitchen sockets .
And your heating and hot water ( your boiler) would remain on . This works both ways .
2 you cooker hood can come of your Kitchen ring ve a switched spur fitted above the worktop at socket level with the load single socket fitted out of sight in the hod itself or in the nearest above unit cupboard .
