Recently had a total rewire by NICEIC electrician who made dangerous errors complained to NICEIC ,the electrician just said "not his work "provided evidence to prove our case but ignored by NICEIC who just closed the case. Is there any other electrical bodies I can look out for so when have to employ another electrician will feel more secure ?

I'm surprised the NIC EIC have acted as you say they have, as they are consumer based and very much for the customer over the electrician. There certainly is plenty of over bodies out there such as NAPIT, ELECSA, ECA, and more.... the NICEIC will be the most recognizable and are usually the one most companies, insurers, home owners will specify for with regards to certification.
