Dear Ruirodrigues
Remove a chimney breast require a building control approval so please follow this instruction carefully.
1-Obtain a structure engineer steel beam calculation
2-Apply for Building control application and pay the correct fees
3-Obtain a quote from a reliable experience contractor
Please do NOT listen to anyone mention Gallow bracket to support a chimney breast as this method is NOT valid anymore. According to the building regulation document any chimney breast will require to be supported with steel beam designed by structured engineer.
Warm Regards
