Replacing a shower door seal vertically

I need to replace the shower door seal on the side vertically. The rubber strip came out nicely all the way down until it got to the last 10 centimeter long. It got stuck ane would not come out. It got mould.

Could you tell me what I can use to remove the remaining of the rubber strip, please?

I would first try to slowly pri it out with a flat blade or thin scraper if not may be cut it out with a stanly knife.

Also have a look at the bottom edge under the seal if it's locked in place with anything. Apart from that sorry can't advise much without looking at it.

Hope this helps.
