No hot water from shower (controlled by ABS Thermostatic Bar Valve)

Hello About 2.5-3 weeks ago, the hot water stopped coming out of our shower. We still get really hot water in the bathroom sink and also the kitchen sink, both mixer taps. The shower is controlled by an ABS Thermostatic Bar Valve but it was working fine before. Initially, the shower water went freezing cold but after a couple of weeks it's now a very very tepid lukewarm, but definitely not hot. I've turned the thermostat to the hottest setting, I've tried switching it off and on and turning it from hot to cold, I've tried turning the heating on, resetting the boiler... we have a water tank, a pump and a combi boiler as the water pressure in the area is terrible but it seems odd that we have hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Is this caused by an airlock and if so, how do I fix it please? Thanks for your help and advice!
