Do upvc windows fitted after 2004 must have internal beadings?

I have been told that windows fitted after 2004 must have internal beadings, are you able to confirm this or is the salesman trying it on? Thanks

Externally glazed upvc windows are a thing of the past.
They was mainly externally beaded, because there was no way of reversing the profile to have a fixed part & an opening part.
upvc systems are now reversible using a butt weld and a Z section profile.
You could still have all your windows externally beaded if you wish.
As long as they meet building regs for safty & egress as well as being a minimum of 1.7wm2 (c-rated)
Hope this helps
