Plastering & Rendering

Who can check re-rendering work is good enough?

Anonymous user 14 March 2024 - 2.31 PM

I've recently had masonry work done on the outside of an end-terrace. I'm about to pay the final instalment to the builder, but would like a professional opinion on the quality of the work. The property was originally pebbledash, which has been partly blown and removed in sections, then fresh render has been applied. As it's an expensive job, I'd like to know that it's been done well. Who do I ask/pay to come out and check the standard of workmanship? I'm not totally convinced/happy with it, but I'm no expert! Your advice is appreciated, thank you.

Hi there You do not say what you are not happy with, if the finish is not smooth enough then you know that yourself,if your asking whether it was done in the right way and the right materials used then employ a building engineer. regards Joseph
