Bathroom Fitting Question

Problem getting plumber back to sort bathroom leak

Hi, we had a new bathroom fitted that was so much hassle but finally finished. The shower / bath has now leaked through the ceiling into our lounge, luckily causing no damage. The problem we have is getting the plumber that did the bathroom back to sort the leak. It's causing lots of stress and been going on so long. What can we do ?

If the work is less a year old he should return. Try threatening with solicitor!

The only way is to send a letter detailing Trading Standards 'fit for purpose', and ask him to return , giving a deadline date. You should state that if they do not return by the date, you are going to seek legal advice. All installation work should have a minimum of 12 months guarantee.
