Flooring Question

Can i put vinyl over tiles in my bathroom and kitchen?

I have just ought a property with horrid tiled floors in both the kit hen and bathroom. Clearly done very cheaply.
For a short term fix, am I able to vinyl straight onto the tiles to improve the appearance in both rooms?
Ideally this will be the short term fix as I will replace both suits in the next 2 years.

Please advise!

You would probably have to latex the floor first, a floor layer would be able to carry the work out for you.

Yes, nothing wrong with that for a short term fix but eventually the joint lines of the tiling will start to be visible throught the vinyl; a fix for that is a leveling compound but do make sure the tile surface is very clean first.
