Chimneys & Fireplaces Question

Removing a chimney breast without a stack

Hi, I'm moving into an ex council 1955 3 bed semi in a few weeks and as part of the renovation I wish to remove the chimney breasts on one side of the property. Each room that faces an outside wall of the property has a chimney breast but only the LHS of the property has a visible chimney stack from the outside.

I've not managed to get into the loft yet to check up there but would that suggest that the chimney breasts without a stack could be removed with relative ease?

My guess is no but again i would have to stress that you must get an expert to look over this before you start work
