Hi Annie
Sorry to hear you're uinhappy with your Dulux product. I must say it's not the first time or last, keep hearing about Dulux products or water based paints esp as a finished coat. You say they are new doors so presume they have been primed. If not I would suggest after knotting any knots and filling the wood, you're ready to apply coat of primer!!!!!!!!! Not sure if you're short on time or you have children but use water based acrylic (if short on time) followed by 2 coats of satinwood oil based. If wood is already painted, satinwood does not require undercoat. I usually apply 2 or 3 coats, but use oil based and if I were you, avoid Dulux. Not only is it dear, it's not a true white compared to other manufacturer's paint!!!!!! It has a grey tint. Hope this helps and good luck
