Plastering Question

Portsmouth plasterer level 1 in help please

Hi, I'm coming to the end of my first year and about to take my level 1 diploma in plastering at college I am 21, CSCS qualified but struggling so hard to find work. I am in Portsmouth currently doing a part time cleaning job but it's not enough. I am not using my plastering skills and it bugs me everyday. I have my own tools which cost a fortune and I'm using them once a week. If anyone knows of how I could get into work or any work going or anyone that needs a labourer can you please let me know.
Many thanks

Hi mate, I went through same thing as you 15 years ago. I started by advertising in local paper to be honest it's hard out there at the moment. My advice would be to join this website as a tradesman and just take on little jobs like bathroom ceiling or 1 wall needs skimming if you do a good job then you will get good feedback and you confidence will build up to take on bigger jobs. Stick with it mate you will get there. Kind regards. skylightplastering
