Main Combi 30HE boiler Issues

Anonymous user 3 March 2024 - 2.59 PM

Hi There - I really hope someone can help me! I've had a Main Combi 30HE boiler for a few years now and I recently had a problem with the Air Pressure Switch. The original switch installed in the boiler was a ''Honeywell C6065A 1010:2''. The boiler stopped working last week - no heating or hot water and the ''Fan/Flue'' light was flashing red. The gas engineer concluded that the air pressure switch was faulty and replaced it with an ''Interpart Air Pressure Switch Part no: 5137532''. From making a few inquires, I have noted that the 'new' replacement part is for: -Baxi Combi Instant 80HE -Main 24HE Could you please let me know whether the replacement part is the correct part for my Main Combi 30HE boiler? If this is not the replacement part for my boiler, then please could you provide the correct part details so that I can buy one? Your early reply in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance! I really appreciate it! Ms Clarke

Many boiler manufacturers use the same APS, this device is very simple in its function but important to the safe operation of your boiler. They all work on the same principle so don't worry whether you feel the wrong part has been fitted. I am sure your heating engineer knows what he is doing.
