Garages & Sheds Question

How much should i expect to pay for replacing a 7' x 7' up and over garage door ?

The door which needs replacing is a Henderson pre 1992 door which has been dented.

I already have on site an exact replacement 7' door and new cone & cable set and roller spindle set.
The frame is good as is the horizontal spring at the top. Just needs someone with experience to fit the replacement door and take away the damaged door.

Thanks for your answer, much appreciated.

Already had a couple of quotes from Yellow Pages and they were at the top end. Considering they both said it would only take them an hour approx, couldn't see why, as jobs straightforward.
Probably better to post the job on here!

I was also considering buying some type of insulation for around the edges and bottom but needed some advice on what to go for. If anyone can recommend anything?

Pretty straight forward job if existing timber frame is ok.
I personally would charge in the region of £100-£150 for this job
Thanks for your feedback, and would suggest posting job on here, where you can see in the feedback whether the tradesman you hire has any garage door experience.
I think the job would yake a couple of hous, including chopping up old door and disposing
As for insulating the door,i have seen many attempts over the years, but none of the ones i have seen work.
Firstly everything you hang off the door will effect the spring balance of the door making it heavy to lift etc.You may get away with about 5 kg.
Secondly, you can buy a brush or rubber strip for the bottom of the door, which would keep out leaves .
I recently did a job locally for a couple where the husband was obsessed with draughts and insulation.I fitted them a new insulated roller door, and bumped into the lady a few days later who told me that there bedroom was directly above the new door and the the 1st night she had kick the husband out of bed, because she thought they had left the heating on,and they wished they had the door changed years ago
