Carpentry & Joinery Question
Carpentry apprenticeship wanted cardiff. any help appreciated
My name is Ross. I am a second year carpentry student seeking an apprenticeship in Cardiff. I thought I would try my luck here as I am taking any opportunity to make enquiries.
I have gained relevant site experience by working on a number of build, maintenance and installation projects. My responsibilities and skills have ranged from first fix stud work, to second fix doors, locks and flooring.
I have achieved a distinction grade in level 1 diploma carpentry. I have also gained my City and Guilds basic carpentry hand skills qualification. I am currently studying a level 2 diploma carpentry course at Cardiff and Vale Construction College. I intend to maintain the levels of commitment needed for a distinction grade whilst studying my current course.
I am a reliable, motivated individual. I feel that I have ability to carry out my work responsibilities to a level that is above and beyond expectation. I am able to offer something positive to any working environment whether as part of a team or when expected to work alone. I am eagerly looking for an opportunity to work as a carpenter and I am dedicated in seeking career development within the field.
Please contact me if you feel my enquiry is something you would be interested in discussing.
Many thanks for your time
I can see you are keen, and we have all started off in your shoes.
As I am Birmingham way I cant employ you, but my best advise to you is pick up all the local news papers in your area and call all carpenters and builders and explain your situation.
You will get your apprenership if you really want it!
Best of luck will
