Install new kitchen to replace utility room
Sam did a great job to replace my utility room with a new kitchen. He did exactly what he said he would, was reliable, helpful, left the place tidy and always worked to the brief we'd agreed. Sam also did some extra work for me fitting a shower, I'd recommend him to anyone.

Very happy with Sam. He was very quick at providing a quote and explained what he planned to do and why it was needed. The work was done quickly with very little mess. I would use Sam again.

    DIY wiring sign-off [Nr. Basingstoke]

I needed a part P certification after doing some of my own wiring in the house. Sam was quick to respond, prompt in arrival, friendly and very thorough. He did find one issue but fixed it whilst on-site. I would definitely recommend Sam. He knows his stuff and is very professional (whilst remaining realistically priced).

Replace old CSU with new, and connect elec' shower

I needed someone to remove ancient existing 6-way CSU and supply and install a new 15way Consumer Unit (fuse box) and wire-in a new electric shower. A new shower was needed quickly to provide washing facilities after old boiler broke. I've never hired any trades based on internet reviews before (only on personal recommendation). However, I was keen to find a good price and came upon MyBuilder and decided to try it, because of the bidding aspect. Sam's reviews had really caught my eye as being so positive, that I invited him to tender. I got several responses and Sam's wasn't quite the lowest. I also got quotes from 5 different local electricians based on friend's high recommendations. Sam's price was around 30% below the lowest of these other quotes. I spoke to him by phone and felt very reassured that he would be good. He was good - very good. He was on time; he was tidy, covering his work area, laying out his tools neatly. He was also very flexible, in working around me as I worked on finishing plumbing for the shower. He stayed 1.5hrs after he'd finished his own work on the CSU so as to connect up the shower (at no extra cost above the agreed quote). Certification all arrived by post after a couple of days as promised. Sam is a really nice guy, professional and courteous in his manner, and highly knowledgeable. I will definitely use him again for work that is in planning at the moment. Obviously, I can thoroughly recommend him. Charles A.

Garage conversion to need new electric points. The garage currently has power, both sockets and lights. This will need to be carried out as a first and second fix sytem to allow walls and ceilings to be boarded out in between. The garage is to have a small utility room within, this will require 2 switched spurs for washing mac / tumble outlet, power for a sanilo loo and 1 double at worktop height. light and switch. In the main garage, to be made a playroom, this will require 4 double sockets and 1 light and switch. The front of the property is being extended out ground floor and should be water tight by early may and will be looking to get the first fix cables in just after - second fix around a week or so after. Walls are being 2x2 batton and plasterboard within the garage, while the extended part will be dot and dab,

A good job all round. Quick, tidy and affordable! Cheers Sam

    Electric testing and certificate
On time, polite and very reasonably priced. Sam completed an electric testing certificate and delivered, as promised, the certificate the day after. Would defiantly recommend.
