Polly gave a competative quote and although he had some issues with transport which delayed the job, he kept us up to date and the finished product is really excellent and we're delighted with the end product. Polly is a lovely guy and takes a pride in his work. We would have no hesitation in hiring him again. Recommended.

    Polly completed a complete refurbishment of our staircase working with care and precision to produce a beautiful finish,cladding it fully in oak. Polly was very dedicated to getting the job right and we were grateful for his precision and attention to detail. He was trustworthy and we were happy to have him in the house.We had to wait longer than planned before Polly could start but it was well worth the wait. The price was very competitive even after it was adjusted to allow for unexpected complications. We would certainly recommend him to others and would use him again if we had further jobs.

    Polly was immediately sympathetic to the fact that the windows which I wanted were for a house situated in a conservation area. Taking advice from Suffolk Council's Conservation Architect, Polly took his drawings and re-drew some full size sections suggesting a very practical method of construction, true to the vernacular style of window necessary.

    He was very obliging when I asked for a few changes. His workmanship was of an extremely high quality and the final window units fitted perfectly as he had taken many check dimensions. He was equally careful, quick and professional in the taking away of the old frames and fitting the new. His creative advice, quality of workmanship and attention to detail, as well as his expert building skills make him a superb recommendation. A very keen price too.

In my view Polly would have been at the top of any list of competent and highly skilled joiners/cabinet makers. He is extremely thorough and takes great pride in his work. The work comprised all the structural and fitting out required in the virtual rebuild of a clunch barn conversion in Barton Mills. The quality was excellent and time was not of the essence.
