About Whitehouse Nelson
After spending 15 years in the building trade in 2007 I decided to try and better myself by going to University to study a HND in Building Studies and a 3 year diploma in Stone Masonry & Heritage skills. I graduated in 2012 and then entered into the National Heritage Training Group, spending the last 3 years travelling around the country restoring historic buildings and attending lectures and training courses.
In the duration of my time with (NHTG) I worked on such projects as the restoration of Heron Corn Mill, a 14th century mill deep in the heart of Cumbria where I was the mason responsible for all masonry components at the mill and my first scheduled monument Lincoln Castle.
