We asked Dane to install a marble fireplace for us and he did a fantastic job! Really tidy, professional and will get him back to install another fireplace and carry out some work on our chimney.

Dane was a very communicative individual, due to schedules he was unable to attend for a quote but with pictures and conversation, we agreed a fair price for the work.

He was prompt and his work is to a good standard, we had to make decisions during the work due to the situation he uncovered. This was dealt with swiftly and patiently.

He has since been consulted for some advice on further works and we look forward to contacting him again for these when the house is ready.

Dane has been brilliant from start to finish - really thorough in ensuring I understood the options (including providing photos), offering to speak to suppliers on my behalf, happy to source materials etc. His workmanship was really good, timeliness/cleanliness etc absolutely fine, reasonable price with no hidden extras plus he's a really nice chap who wasn't fussy when I forgot to buy more coffee (fyi - he takes milk and one for any future clients). No hesitation in recommending him and will use him again should the need arise.

I'm delighted with the work done by West Thames Developments. Dane removed a cast iron fireplace surround from upstairs, replastered the hole and reinstalled it, with a new hearth stone, in the fireplace downstairs. Every stage of the works was completed to a very high standard. I commissioned Dane because he has experience working for two fireplace specialists. He set out the costs clearly before works commenced and his quote was very reasonable. He is easy to work with; I called him a few times for advice and he made useful recommendations such as type of hearth stone and shotblasting. He took good care throughout the project to ensure the results were really high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend Dane.
