Hi, my name's Terry. My specialism is bespoke furniture design and construction, however I can undertake numerous renovation jobs, woodwork projects, furniture assembly and general home maintenance. I have a City & Guilds qualification (level 1) in Carpentry and Joinery, a first class honours degree in Furniture Design and Make and 7+ experience working on personal and commissioned craft projects. I'm based in Littlemore, south Oxford and I cover areas within Oxfordshire.

About TAD Furniture

I'm available to work on small maintenance jobs, e.g. putting up shelves, fixing broken furniture, hanging pictures, no job too small! I'm happy to assemble flat pack furniture and I'm very open to bespoke design and make projects. I love sketching out new ideas and making them come to life. I've completed a number of furniture projects, both personal and commissioned, some of these are pictured here on my profile. I'm happy to work with sheet materials (MDF/Plywood) and timber depending on the needs of the project.

  • Work bench

    The bespoke jewellers workbench built for me is very fine indeed. Terry’s skill in interpreting the specifications and idiosyncrasies of the project have produced a piece of furniture both functional and beautiful. He has been patient when I have been capricious and changed my mind back and forth and back again.
    His meticulous craftsmanship is evident in every detail. It has been a pleasure to work with him .

  • Door screws removing

    Terry came to take a door off for me, he had to wait nearly half an hour as I was stuck in a huge traffic jam. He was helpful, efficient and where two screws had broken off he drilled new hinge holes for when the door was to be reapplied. I have already asked if he will do a couple of other jobs for me, highly recommend him

  • Repair or replace cupboards in bedroom for storage

    Terry did an absolutely fantastic job fixings and repairing our cupboards. His work is of the highest standard and the cupboards now look beautiful. I can not recommend him more highly, and desperately want to get him back to do some more work for us!
