About Stone Art Cotswold Ltd

In 1998 I began my apprenticeship with ACRP in Provence, training also with the Compagnon du Devoir, the major guild of craftsmen and master masons in France. I learnt my skills by moving from site to site and being taught by different Masters, as is the tradition in France.
After being a journeyman for the best part of a decade, I founded Stone Art Cotswold in 2010. I have worked on many prestigious projects including Strasbourg Cathedral, Gloucester Cathedral, Owlpen Manor and many of the traditional buildings in the Cotswold area.
My team and I always use traditional methods, including lime mortar rather than cement, meaning that your project will not only look authentic but will last for centuries to come. We offer a complete service, from design to carving to fixing, and can also supply a range of high-quality stones from 60 quarries in Europe, to ensure that your finished project is exactly as you want it to be.
We also offer stone carving, letter carving and sculpture, for example statues, urns, memorials and fireplaces.
