An Architect with over 25 years experience specialising in house conversions, new extensions and one off private houses as well as anything residential. As our homes have also become our offices/workspaces, reorganising your work/life spaces, be it with internal re-organisation, a new extension or even an outbuilding. I can help. With local knowledge of planning requirements I'll help you through the planning process right through to work on site, with local engineers and contractors to hand.

About SRS Design

I am a qualified architect working in the Berkshire area for some 28 years. Projects have ranged from small single storey one room extensions, single private houses to the design of 8 flats.

I believe that quality of workmanship and translating what the client brief requires are key elements that make a successful project. Designing within a given budget to produce a desirable building that the client can relate to, requires experience and planning knowledge.
In Berkshire and Bucks there are local planning issues concerning flood plain, Green Belt and Conservation Areas, that I am used to dealing with. The Planning process of Permitted Development can be thwarted by legal interpretations and unclear policies. I can help with these.

Qualifications

Trained at The Welsh School of Architecture Cardiff University and qualified as an architect in 1992.
I hold a BSc in architecture and a masters MArch.
Registered as an 'Architect' with the Architects Registration Board of Great Britain.
ARB Registration No: 058795H
Since 1992 worked in several practices focusing on residential properties.
