About shaw builders

I started in the building trade at 14 years of age, working in the summer holidays with my Grandfather. After leaving school I went on to do a 4 year apprenticeship with William Davis of Loughborough whilst attending Coalville technical college, gaining my qualifications. I have worked on many sites throughout the Midlands. After leaving William Davis I went on to work for a smaller firm, building extensions but it also included maintenance work for Marstons Brewery, East Midlands Airport and Leicestershire County Council. I then returned to site work for William Davis and continued my work there for many years until setting up my own business
