About S&G Builders

We have covered all types of ,block, brick,and stonework from new house build, extensions, boundary walls, garages, conservatory bases, hard garden landscaping and repair work.
We started off as apprentices back in the day and have worked for large local companies before becoming self employed some 30 yrs ago .

Qualifications

As apprentices in the sixties/seventies we did not receive a qualification such as NVQ , it was not deemed unnecessary as your skills alone decided if you were good enough to be employed. One of us has an ARICS qualification however.

    This is the second time I've used Steve and his son Lee to do some bricklaying/stonework for me and I can thoroughly recommend their work. Steve quoted what I thought was a fair price, was able to start the job pretty quickly, arrived on time, worked in some truly atrocious weather conditions and did a great job of rebuilding a collapsed stone wall. I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again.

    These guys quoted a really reasonable price in comparison to others ti cut walk back in front drive. Came out cleared up and even donated some nice stones for the garden
